Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Repair Technician C in Columbus, OH to perform a range of essential repairs and maintenance. The role offers base pay of $20.53–$31.94 per hour, with a 20-hour minimum weekly billable guarantee and a productivity bonus program.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician and ability to perform standard repairs.
• ASE or dealership certifications preferred in Suspension & Steering and Brakes (or ability to obtain within 12 months – paid for by AAA).
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs including basic Suspension & Steering Diagnostics/Repair, basic Brake Diagnostics/Repair, Wheel Alignments, Tire Repair, Fluid Maintenance Exchanges, and Battery Checks and Installation.
• Maintain and build general automotive skills to allow flexibility in work assignments.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company safety guidelines.
• Plan and organize work for maximum efficiency, including vehicle movement.
• Complete all repairs and maintenance to manufacturer specifications or industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

• The base compensation for this position is $20.53 - $31.94/hr flat rate. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
• Billable Hours Guarantee: 20-hour minimum per week.
• Productivity Bonus: Opportunity to earn a $250 – $550 bonus every two weeks, based on productivity and performance.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
• Training & Certification Support: We pay for your ASE certifications and recertifications!

What You’ll Bring
