Job description

Job Summary
Kerry Automotive is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Florence, Kentucky. This person will be responsible for individual customer service during a service visit, set up complete and accurate estimates for vehicle repairs and work as part of a team with the service manager and staff. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of automotive service and repair procedures, the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment and handle customer complaints in a polite and understanding way.

Responsibilities
• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner
• Obtain vehicle information to provide customers with accurate estimates
• Prepare repair orders
• Explain services and associated costs
• Follow up with customers regarding their service visits
• Liaise with Service Manager and technical staff
• Handle customer complaints in a polite and understanding way
• Update customers on the status of their vehicle repair
• Generate additional sales revenue through sales presentations
Requirements
• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Automotive Service Advisor
• Must have an understanding of automotive service and repair procedures
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to effectively handle customer complaints
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available on weekends
