Job summary

Magna Seating in South Carolina is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our production team. You will rotate through tasks on the assembly line, build automotive seat systems, and support high-quality manufacturing in a fast-paced setting focused on safety, quality and teamwork.

You will read instructions and drawings, perform quality checks, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while maintaining a clean, compliant workstation and participating in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long hours and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to follow work instructions and blueprints precisely.
• Effective communication with team members to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Rotate between tasks on the production line.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams accurately.
• Perform quality checks and identify defective or non-conforming parts.
• Assist with parts inspection, inventory, cleanup, and minor equipment maintenance.
• Report safety, quality, or production issues to supervisors promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation (5S).
• Participate in continuous improvement and team problem solving.
• Attend training sessions and complete required materials.
