Qualifications

  • Hands-on automotive repair or parts pulling experience is preferred.
  • Must own and maintain necessary mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Locate, identify, and remove auto parts from salvage yard vehicles.
  • Safely remove bolted and unbolted auto parts to prevent damage.
  • Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as needed.

The company has been in business for over 25 years and operates from 27 locations across the U.S. Our primary focus is auto recycling, involving the recovery and resale of OEM parts, components, and systems from damaged, totaled, or low-value vehicles.

Job Snapshot
  • Day shift, Monday – Friday
  • Benefit and 401k options
  • Locate, identify, and remove auto parts from salvage yard vehicles and warehouse locations based on work orders
  • Physically move parts to and from warehouse storage areas
  • Safely remove bolted and unbolted auto parts to prevent damage
  • Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as needed
  • Label and tag parts, and place them in designated storage areas
  • Maintain a clean workspace and complete all required paperwork
  • Check parts for defects and record information in computer systems
  • Ensure scrap and core materials are properly staged
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Hands-on automotive repair or parts pulling experience or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Forklift experience/certification is a plus
  • Ability to identify automotive parts
  • Own and maintain necessary mechanical tools as discussed during interview
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
