Job summary

Dick Hannah Dealerships in Gladstone, OR is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to drive sales and leases of new and used vehicles. You will greet customers, present features, arrange test drives, and process deals with emphasis on customer satisfaction.

This is a commission-based role with strong earning potential, plus generous PTO, health benefits, and a 401(k) plan after eligibility. A valid driver's license and insurability are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
• Team player with a positive attitude, willing to work in a team-oriented process.
• Strong sales skills and ability to sell.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable with company insurance.

Responsibilities

• Sell/lease and deliver a minimum of 10 units per month.
• Approach, greet, and assist customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Fully explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Offer test drives to all prospects, following dealership procedures to obtain proper identification prior to the test drive.
• Utilize the dealership sales control and follow-up system.
• Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
• Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager.
• Maintain regular attendance.
