Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rhinelander, WI seeks an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead the sales team for new and used vehicles, driving profitability and guest satisfaction. This role focuses on guiding the team through the road-to-the-sale process, delivering a high-energy, guest-centric experience, and achieving sales budgets.

You will mentor sales professionals, coordinate with service and finance, and manage inventory while upholding our servant-leadership culture and strong ethics.

Qualifications

• Previous successful experience in automotive sales, leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and train a team of sales professionals
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to effectively utilize software systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team to achieve budget
• Manage inventory, price changes, vehicle descriptions and photos
• Work with service to get vehicles inspected
• Purchase vehicles and maintain appropriate inventory
• Ensure all guests in the showroom are being well taken care of
• Work with the sales team on working deals and follow up with guests
• Follow up with guests to close more deals
• Responsible for management of new and used car inventory and profitability
• Present options to help guests protect their vehicle purchase
• Work with the sales team to acquire financing for vehicle purchases
• Deliver vehicles and paperwork for sold deals in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with financial institutions to best serve the guests through their vehicle purchasing experience
• Follow the internal road-to-the-sale process
• Successfully overcome objections
• Maintain adequate knowledge of the products we offer

• Work with financial institutions to ensure fast funding, and take care of all CIT, fix held deals and related tasks.
• Work with the accounting/office team to ensure titling paperwork is accurate and collected timely
