Rydell of Independence in Independence, Iowa is hiring Automotive Sales Consultants to join our sales team. No automotive sales experience is required, and we provide paid training, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing coaching to help you start a successful career in automotive sales.

From day one you will learn vehicle features, demonstrate products, guide customers through the purchase process, and build lasting relationships that generate repeat and referral business.

Responsibilities

Rydell of Independence is hiring Automotive Sales Consultants to join our sales team in Independence, Iowa. No automotive sales experience is required. We provide paid training, one-on-one mentorship, ongoing coaching, and the tools you need to build a successful career in automotive sales.

If you have experience in customer service, retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, banking, call centers, wireless sales, technology sales, business development, account management, or another customer-facing position, your skills may transfer very well to automotive sales.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional dealership experience
• Learn about each customer's vehicle needs, lifestyle, preferences, and budget
• Help customers select new and pre-owned vehicles that fit their needs
• Build relationships with customers to generate repeat and referral business
• Learn vehicle features, technology, options, and product information
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Guide customers through the automotive sales and vehicle purchase process
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person
• Follow up with prospective customers and sales leads
• Maintain communication with customers before and after the sale
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity
• Learn and apply proven automotive sales and customer service techniques
• Work with Sales Managers and other team members to achieve individual and dealership goals
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery
