Job summary

Sutton Auto Team is seeking a bilingual Automotive Sales Associate to join our sales team. The right candidate has experience selling and loves working with people in a Ford dealership environment that values service to customers and the community.

Base pay is $2,500 per month with opportunities for commissions and monthly bonuses, plus benefits and a 401(k). Flexible hours and equal opportunity employment are highlighted in the description.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who enter the dealership, answering questions and helping them select a vehicle.
• Sell a minimum number of vehicles according to goals defined by the sales manager.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits; identify customer needs through questions and listening.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly performance to improve time management and planning.
• Offer test drives and obtain proper identification prior to test drive.

• Competitive pay: Base salary of $2,500 per month ($30,000 annually), paid bi-weekly, with the opportunity to earn additional commissions and monthly bonuses. Total compensation may vary based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs.
• Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager.
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive.

Requirements:

Preferred:
