Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to engage hundreds of customers online, by phone and in person in a no-haggle environment, guiding them from lead to in-store visit with outstanding service.

You’ll need strong communication, a drive to meet goals, and prior sales or customer service experience; training and career paths into finance, management, and beyond are offered, with benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers online, by phone, and in store to select their vehicle and close the deal.
• Explain payment options to fit customers' budgets and preferences.
• Provide an exceptional pre- and post-purchase customer experience and drive loyalty.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition to Service.

With your outstanding communication and listening skills, you’ll help our customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms to ensure that payment options meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations and close the deal. Our e-Commerce Sales Associates provide an exceptional customer experience both before and after purchase, driving loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction and helping transition customers to the Service department to support their ownership experience.
