The Norton Family automotive group in Oklahoma City seeks an Automotive Sales Associate to welcome customers and guide them through the car-purchasing process. You will answer questions about products and services and help customers feel supported throughout their buying journey.

Responsibilities include outbound outreach, leveraging social media for sales opportunities, and reporting to the Sales Manager on objectives and activity. A strong, energetic customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and energy throughout the sales workday.
• Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections and pricing.
• Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills.
• Interest in training additional sales associates in a team environment.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership.
• Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening to needs.
• Meet daily appointment requirements by outbound calls, texts and emails to prospects and previous customers.
• Leverage social media and other marketing channels to engage customers and find sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with employees and customers to enhance the sales process.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
• Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
• Meet daily appointment requirements by making outbound phone calls, text, and emails to both prospective and previous customers
• Leverage social media platforms, and other marketing channels to engage customers and find sales opportunities
• Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Physical Requirements

• The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
• Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
• Frequent - Repetitive motion.
• Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Physical Working Conditions

This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
