Job summary

Phillips Chevrolet Group is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join our award-winning team. This full-time role includes on-the-job training through Phillips University, with a Monday–Saturday schedule and a base weekly salary of $400.00 plus a performance-driven bonus structure and employee benefits.

You will represent our #1 Chevy Dealer in Illinois, a family-owned business with long-term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life by asking questions and listening carefully.
• Be the vehicle expert on product offerings and options.
• Demonstrate vehicles professionally and perform guided product demonstrations.
• Handle leads, phone-ups, floor traffic, and BDC support as available.
• Follow up with buyers to generate referrals and repeat business.
• Report objectives and activities to Sales Manager.

This is a full-time position that requires a 5 day work-week including Saturdays. Dealership closes at 7pm during the week and 6pm on Saturdays. Example of work schedule: Monday thru Friday 9am - 5pm, 11am-7pm, (2) 9am-7pm, 1 day off during week and Saturdays 8:30am-6pm.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the ins & the outs of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
• Receives the leads, phone-ups, floor traffic, and back up help from the Sales BDC
• Sales sells all the products including aftermarket and backend products
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
