Automotive Sales Associate/Product Specialist

Shottenkirk Land Rover Jaguar Boerne

Shottenkirk Automotive Group is family-owned and has been in business for over 60 years. We currently operate 27 Automotive Dealerships in 6 states and employ over 2,500 people. The Automotive Sales Associate/ Product Specialist is responsible for answering questions about the products and services the dealership offers with the purpose of making customers feel welcome and supported through the car-purchasing process.

Responsibilities:

Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership

Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs

Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process

Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers

Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, service, or hospitality.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury brand environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; articulate and confident when interacting with clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, digital communication platforms, and inventory management systems (experience with VIN Solutions, Dealertrack, CDK, or similar is a plus).

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to adapt to a technology-forward, paperless dealership experience.
