Qualifications

• Experience applying robotics in automotive manufacturing.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot robot systems and related automation.
• Familiarity with safety standards and machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements and cycle time reductions through robot path optimization.
• Assist maintenance during major fault issues and root cause analysis.
• Develop corrective and preventive maintenance procedures and train technicians.
• Collect, monitor and implement corrective actions for downtime issues caused by robots.
• Support engineering change activity and implementation.
• Keep up with latest robotics technology and trends (RIA, ISO, ANSI).
• Champion robot training for plant personnel.
• Procurement of spare parts for robotic equipment and ensure backups.
• Ensure robot documentation is up to date and compliant.
• Support buy-off activities for new programs and changes.
