- Experience applying robotics in automotive manufacturing.
- Ability to program and troubleshoot robot systems and related automation.
- Familiarity with safety standards and machine controls.
Responsibilities
- Implement process improvements and cycle time reductions through robot path optimization.
- Assist maintenance during major fault issues and root cause analysis.
- Develop corrective and preventive maintenance procedures and train technicians.
- Collect, monitor and implement corrective actions for downtime issues caused by robots.
- Support engineering change activity and implementation.
- Keep up with latest robotics technology and trends (RIA, ISO, ANSI).
- Champion robot training for plant personnel.
- Procurement of spare parts for robotic equipment and ensure backups.
- Ensure robot documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Support buy-off activities for new programs and changes.
