Job summary

AutoZone, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

You will assist customers with product selection, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and help keep the store organized and stocked while meeting sales goals. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication skills in English and Spanish, and flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment and support team members.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss prevention policies.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes and safety policies, using PPE to maintain a secure environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
