Zolman Tire, Inc. in South Bend, IN is seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician / Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles.

You will perform routine maintenance and advanced repairs, with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of mechanic experience in the tire and service industry, solid knowledge of automotive systems, and proficiency with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience as a mechanic in tire and service industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic scan tools and other equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Replace suspension parts and perform alignments.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Provide clear explanations of repairs to Service Advisors and customers.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment with adherence to safety standards.
