Shepherd's Automotive in Bradenton, FL is seeking a skilled B Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems with no weekend shifts.

Join our team to use diagnostic equipment, read schematics, and deliver high-quality service while keeping a clean, safe workspace and providing excellent customer communication. Hours are 8AM-6PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive tech training preferred.
• Proven experience as a technician or similar role.
• Must have own tools and be proficient with diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and implement solutions.
• Repair, replace, and adjust components such as engines, brakes, and steering systems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate repair schedules with team to maintain workflow.
• Document repairs and parts used accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
