AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Repair Technician B to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles at our Cincinnati location. You’ll be backed by a long-standing national brand and receive support for ASE certifications, enabling career growth while balancing a productive schedule.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, ASE certification or equivalent, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Automotive Technician with diagnostic/repair skills.
• ASE or Dealership certifications preferred in Suspension & Steering, Brakes, and HVAC or obtainable within 12 months (paid by AAA).
• Strong communication for mentoring and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repair work including suspension, braking, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Keep knowledge up to date and expand skills for flexibility.
• Maintain organized, clean workspace in safety compliance.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment per guidelines.
• Plan and organize work for efficiency, manage vehicle movement.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer specs or best practices.

What We Offer

• The base compensation for this position is $23.46 - $32.95/hr flat rate. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
• Billable Hours Guarantee: 20-hour minimum per week.
• Productivity Bonus: Opportunity to earn a $250 – $550 bonus every two weeks, based on productivity and performance.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
• Training & Certification Support: We pay for your ASE certifications and recertifications!

Your Impact as an Automotive Repair Technician B

• Perform diagnostics and repair work, including Suspension & Steering, Brake Systems (including ABS/traction control), Electrical Systems, and Heating & Air Conditioning.
• Maintain technical knowledge and expand skills to increase flexibility in assignments.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company safety guidelines.
• Plan and organize work for maximum efficiency, including vehicle movement.
• Complete all repairs and maintenance to manufacturer specifications or industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with proven diagnostic and repair skills.
• ASE or Dealership certifications preferred in Suspension & Steering, Brakes, and Heating & Air Conditioning (or ability to obtain within 12 months – paid for by AAA).
• Strong communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
