Overview

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming for maximum reliability and functionality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as auto mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions against accidents, hazardous fluids, chemicals, etc.
• High school diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship
• Valid ASE certification is a plus

Knowledge and Abilities

To perform the essential functions, the employee must be able to read and write English, reach four feet overhead, and perform bending, stretching, and climbing as necessary. The employee must communicate effectively with customers and co-workers and respond to communications. Mobility is required.

Working Conditions

This position works in a garage environment 100% of the time. Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and temperature variations.
