Oil Changers in Austin is seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable service. You will work in a garage environment 100% of the time and must handle vehicles of various ages and models.
Ideal candidates have diagnostic and repair expertise, strong communication with customers, and a solid safety mindset. A high school diploma or vocational training is preferred, with ASE certification beneficial. Valid driver's license required.

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.
An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide advice to customers.
To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to read and write English. The employee must be able to reach four feet in height overhead. Some bending, stretching, and walking up/down the stairs will be used constantly. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers and respond to communication calls from co-workers. Mobility is required.
This position reports to the Manager and Assistant Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position receives daily assignments from the Manager and Assistant Manager and will rotate through all Lube Technician duties (Upper Bay and Lower Bay, Greeter and Cashier).
This position works in a garage environment 100% of the time. Exposure to heavy equipment, slick surfaces, and hot-cold temperatures.
