Job summary

Goken America seeks a Reliability Test Engineer to support automotive validation of Body, Chassis, and Sub-systems. You will validate designs to meet durability targets and craft countermeasures with cross-functional teams to satisfy customer expectations.

The role requires hands-on testing, data collection, vehicle benchmarking, and occasional travel to client sites. Strong background in engineering measurement tools and SAE-style projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Data Acquisition tools and instrumentation.
• FSAE/BAJA SAE or EcoCar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering test activities per established plans to test parts/components for design feasibility and acceptance.
• Perform objective/subjective testing, including driving when required.
• Use data acquisition tools to collect, analyze, and report results.
• Conduct vehicle benchmarking for target setting and support tuning and instrumentation.
• Analyze problems with guidance and coordinate countermeasures with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate requirements with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Coordinate with design and CAE teams to report results and develop countermeasures.
• Seek ways to increase efficiency using current technology.
• Travel to client or test sites as needed.
