Role Overview:

ZEEKR US is seeking a motivated self-starter to join the Regulatory Affairs team. The Regulatory Compliance Lead will manage processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. This role involves interfacing with policy officials, government agencies, customers, and stakeholders, leading investigations and research to support business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working on multiple complex projects with minimal supervision
• Background in US Automotive Regulatory or Policy is preferred
• Ability to communicate regulatory issues effectively with tact and diplomacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance tracking and reporting, including NHTSA, EPA, and CARB ZEV credits
• Act as the point of contact for new or revised regulations and collaborate with internal teams
• Prepare and compile compliance demonstration reports and certification applications
• Maintain vehicle tracking reports and develop presentations for management and authorities
• Monitor legislative updates and perform regulatory research, overseeing contractors as needed
• Ensure quality control in spending, policies, and risk management
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity practices

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related automotive/regulatory field
• At least 5 years in Compliance or related area, with US automotive/regulatory experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, with strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, G-Suite, and Teams; experience with MS Project, Visio, DocuSign, SharePoint is a plus
• Remote work available; living near San Jose/Bay Area, Phoenix, Washington DC, or Southern California is a plus
