Job summary
DriveTime Family of Brands seeks a skilled automotive reconditioning technician to overhaul and renovate vehicles, inspect cosmetic repairs to DriveTime standards, and complete glass repairs as needed. You will utilize standard equipment, maintain safety, and work closely with leadership to meet throughput and quality targets.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, automotive tech knowledge, and the ability to operate basic computer systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology or work experience equivalent (2 years or more) in automotive repair.
- Proficient in automotive repairs and ability to troubleshoot automotive concerns.
- Able to communicate causes and recommended corrections for vehicle issues.
Responsibilities
- Overhaul, rebuild, and renovate vehicles to restore exterior condition to standards.
- Inspect and identify cosmetic repairs per DriveTime standards and tools.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and functional workspace and review work with supervisor.
