Job summary

Apple Autos in Minnesota is seeking a highly-motivated Automotive Reconditioning Technician to perform repair work across vehicle systems, document findings, and ensure work is done right the first time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician preferred.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Team oriented, high energy and focused on customer service.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency.
• Consistently detail and document repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time.
• Inspect and maintain shop equipment.
• Repair vehicle systems including steering, suspension, braking, A/C to specification.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in non-technical terms to service advisors.
• Inspect and test used vehicles and record findings for necessary repairs.
• Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of new technology and techniques.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as an automotive technician preferred.

• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
