Job summary

Step One Automotive is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform repairs and diagnostics in a full-time capacity at our Crestview location. You will work with the service team to determine required maintenance, document all activities, and ensure compliance with safety and dealership standards.

Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus, ASE certifications are preferred, and continuous training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to be on time and work the entirety of your scheduled shift.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards with limited or no supervision.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
