FORVIA HELLA is seeking its next R&D Controlling/ R&D Financial Analyst to join our team in Northville, Michigan. The role focuses on providing financial analysis for program and divisional initiatives within a global team.

Responsibilities include SAP BW-based reporting, month-end closings, project cost planning, and budgeting. A strong foundation in accounting and MS Excel is required, with hybrid work flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Automotive/Mobility industry experience.
• Analytical skills, good communication and independent working.
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and Controlling activities – SAP and Business Warehouse (Headcount, CAPEX, R&D expenses/capitalization).
• Inter-Company reconciliation, Tracking of Customer Reimbursements, Customer Owned Tooling.
• Support month-end/quarterly/year-end closing activities in the area of responsibility.
• Support for project cost planning/cost center planning/capital investment planning.
• Analyze budget/forecast vs. actual deviation to facilitate program teams to meet their targets.
• Assist in external audit preparation, tax preparation, customer claims.
• Responsible for daily tasks as maintaining master data, costing, and procurement workflows.

Forvia Hella is seeking its next great R&D Controlling/ R&D Financial Analyst to join our team. The primary function of this role will be to provide financial analysis on program and divisional initiatives. This individual will be joining a well established and growing global team that is helping to move the automotive market forward.
