Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with automotive quality systems and inspection methods.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform product and process audits in accordance with customer and internal requirements.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Utilize measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM reports, and gauges.
• Verify compliance with quality standards, control plans, and work instructions.
• Investigate internal and customer quality concerns.
• Assist with corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance.
• Monitor scrap, rework, and defect trends.
• Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
• Support customer and third-party audits.
• Verify process compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
