Job summary

GKN Sinter Metals LLC in Gallipolis, OH seeks a Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer to maintain and improve the QMS in alignment with IATF 16949, AIAG, and CSR requirements. You will manage document control, ECR/DCR processes, and audit readiness, interfacing with customers through portals and ensuring traceability of quality records.

This role demands a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3–7+ years in automotive quality systems, with hands-on experience in IMDS/MDS and CQI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
• 3–7+ years in automotive quality systems or compliance.
• Experience with IATF 16949 and AIAG methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to align with IATF 16949.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, AIAG standards, and CSR.
• Support internal and external audits and certification processes.
• Manage engineering quality documents including Control Plans and PFMEA.
• Oversee ECR and DCR processes with document updates.
• Interface with customers via portals and manage IMDS/MDS entries.
• Support continuous improvement and reporting for compliance.
