North American Stamping Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold NASG quality standards. You will act as liaison between customer and NASG, drive corrective actions, support manufacturing, and develop engineering staff within the Quality department.

You will lead problem solving, oversee APQP/PPAP activities, and participate in audits to maintain robust quality systems. A strong background in GD&T, FMEA, and core tools is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in metrology, industrial, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering (or relevant experience)
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• 5 years manufacturing experience; 3 years in automotive manufacturing; 5–10 years in quality functions

Aufgaben

• Support training and development of engineers and technicians in problem solving and improvement tools
• Act as customer contact for all quality issues and represent NASG to resolve issues
• Create and maintain Control Plans, FMEAs, Flow Diagrams and In-Process Inspection documentation
• Guide Production on part inspection and gage use
• Lead corrective and preventative teams and track open issues
• Support and participate in MRB reviews and product containment
• Participate in Layered Audit and New Product Development as needed
• Coordinate internal/external/customer audits and quality improvements
