Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced automotive supplier team. This hands-on role keeps you on the manufacturing floor up to 50% of the day and requires strong collaboration with customers and internal teams.

You will analyze quality issues, perform root-cause investigations, and support new model launches using Minitab and formal problem-solving methods. Relocation options are available for regional candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, ideally technical; experience may substitute.
• At least three years in quality engineering in automotive or mass production.
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions experience.
• Formal problem solving skills; able to train teams.
• Experience communicating with customers.
• Working knowledge of FMEAs and control plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with key customers and serve as the point of contact for quality issues.
• Determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Assist manufacturing floor with quality issues and concerns.
• Review control plans; monitor and update portals.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for customers and management.
• Assist area managers and process engineers with problem solving.
• Support new model launch activities and gage/SPC processes.
• Utilize Minitab software for analysis.
• Lead or participate in formal problem solving teams.
