Qualifications

• Must have recent experience in Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Systems.
• Experience with the APQP system.

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Proven technical skills on product and process.
• Experience in Program launch with an automotive manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Utilize core AIAG quality tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC) to resolve quality concerns.
• Manage internal and external quality concerns, Fast Track Response, and pareto analysis of defects.
• Investigate customer complaints and act as customer support.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities including SPC and capability studies.
• Assist with IATF 16949 activities.
• Manage/interface customer quality system.
• Address supplier quality issues and manage Quality hold area.
• Create and maintain approved PPAP status with all Customers.
• Review and decide disposition of products on hold.
• Organize necessary rework/sorting operations.
• Assist with corrective actions and problem resolution.
• Create, review, and update job books to meet standards and customer specs.
• Use 8D, 5Why, and other problem solving techniques.
• Handle customer and supplier concerns appropriately.
• Randomly audit problematic jobs and drive improvement with Manufacturing Leaders.
• Perform audits to support plant function.
• Supervise vendor quality control and calibration of measuring equipment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company safety rules.
