RPM Auto Center is seeking a full-time, in-person team member in Irwindale, CA to perform quality control inspections and light vehicle services. The role includes maintaining shop cleanliness, operating the company van for parts pickup, and assisting with rental fleet readiness.

Strong English, basic automotive knowledge, and a valid US driver's license are required. The position offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour with benefits including 401(k), 401(k) matching, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of passenger automobiles for identifying components during inspections.
Able to perform basic automotive repair tasks (e.g., tire changes, oil changes).
Able to read/write English on paper and computer.
Must possess a valid US Driver's License and be able to drive with passengers.
Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
Able to perform physical tasks in a shop environment.
Able to interact with customers professionally and answer questions.

Responsibilities

Perform quality control inspection and mini-clean on vehicles after repairs or service.
Keep shop clean and stocked, including bathrooms, floors, and outside grounds.
Drive company van to obtain parts and shuttle customers as needed.
Assist with rental car fleet cleanliness and readiness.
Complete additional duties as needed by the Shop Foreman or Manager.
