Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Michigan to validate software and hardware products for automotive brands. You will develop and execute test plans, support software teams with testing and readiness, and ensure repeatable verification of product quality across the development lifecycle.

The role requires 2+ years in validation/testing, knowledge of vehicle protocols/OBD, strong problem solving, and solid documentation skills.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software, systems, or product validation/testing.
Experience developing and executing test plans and validation procedures.
Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols and OBD systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Participate in project team meetings to understand validation requirements and support test planning activities.
Analyze functional requirements and develop validation test plans.
Execute test plans and document results.
Identify, document, and communicate product defects and specification gaps to engineering teams.
Develop installation and user support documentation for onboard systems.
Provide field and customer installation support as required.
Perform other duties as assigned which may include: procuring test vehicles, driving test vehicles to and from the office facility, cataloging and organizing test equipment.
