Magna is seeking a hands-on assembler for a B&C shift in our Tennessee facility. You will perform basic assembly, operate spot weld equipment, and ensure product quality per control plans while maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes 1-2 years of manufacturing exposure, basic machine operation, and willingness to learn SPC-related tasks. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic machine operation skills.
• Prior assembly experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and conformance of product to customer specs per control plans.
• Perform basic assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate resistance spot weld machines to assemble products.
• Conduct basic safety inspections on equipment and record data.
• Complete SPC checks and charts as required.
• Weld destruct testing and data recording as required.
• Basic machine maintenance and weld tip changes.
• 100% visual inspection and packaging of product.
• Operate machines at optimum efficiency to meet targets.
• Tag containers per work instructions.
• Housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with inventory.
