Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Worker / Machine Operator for a climate-controlled, high-volume facility in Pontiac, MI. You will operate line equipment, inspect parts, assemble products, and support multiple areas to ensure on-time orders.

The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following detailed work instructions with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Previous automotive manufacturing exposure and familiarity with power tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively.
• Stand for the full duration of the shift.
• Experience or in automotive manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools in a production environment.
• Attention to detail for sorting and inspection of parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery per work instructions.
• Inspect parts against quality criteria.
• Assemble products per work instructions and quality alerts.
• Support multiple production areas to maintain workflow.
• Report issues or abnormalities in the process.
• Perform routine quality checks and tests on products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Pack final products with correct labeling.
