Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner of choice, seeking a Production Manager in Coopersville, MI. You will guide a multi-disciplinary team through design, testing and quality assurance to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets in a high-volume automotive environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, and preferably Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. You will partner with planning, production and marketing to optimize feasibility and costs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent Automotive experience
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly desired
• Expertise in implementing world-class systems and tools
• Advanced people and/or process management skills and customer relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Guide department activities to design and improve production techniques
• Plan projects by exploring technology trends and market demand
• Collaborate with management to resolve feasibility, cost, and customer demand
• Maintain production budgets and control operating costs
• Prioritize schedules to meet product introductions and material availability
