Job summary

The Product Engineer at Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems I LLC will own the design, development, and launch support of assigned programs, focusing on steering wheel and airbag systems for North American OEMs. The role requires leading design validation, meeting YF product development standards, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5+ years in the automotive industry with at least two successful product launches.
• Experience in steering wheel and/or airbag modules is required.
• Experience leading programs and teams with full engineering responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Owns design, validation and release of steering wheel and airbag systems using the YF product development process.
• Lead the design, validation and launch support of programs; ensure on-time SOP.
• Be the single point of customer contact and manage relationships with key engineering decision makers.
• Ensure documents and processes meet YFSS standards and systems.
