Textron's internship program in Troy, MI offers hands-on experience in product development engineering. You will work on assigned programs, support model/drawing creation, and apply engineering disciplines including DFMEA, DVP&R, and control plans across QS9000 requirements.

You'll also provide prototype and launch support at supplier, Kautex, and OEM sites while engaging in lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing University Degree in Engineering, preferably Plastics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of testing and validation, program/project management, quality management, MTS/ Statistical Process Control, Documentation, DFMEA and PFMEA processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform a broad range of engineering duties for assigned program(s) as defined in our processes.
• Support creation of engineering models/drawings.
• Apply DFMEA, FEA, GDT & T, DVP&R, and Control Plan per QS9000 requirements.
• Develop and maintain liaison with customer engineering.
• Provide trial, launch, and post-launch support at supplier, Kautex, and OEM sites.
