Job summary

Nielsen Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Prep & Detail Technician for Franklin Sussex Auto Mall in Sussex, NJ. This on-site, full-time role offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will detail and clean vehicles for customer delivery, maintain dealership appearance, and support maintenance tasks. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, paid weekly. No previous detailing required, training available, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team setting
• Dependable attendance with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical duties
• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, and prepare vehicles for the dealership lot
• Detail and prepare vehicles for customer delivery
• Wash and clean customer vehicles as needed
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of dealership vehicles
• Assist with general dealership and work-area maintenance
• Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation and cleanliness standards
• Safely move and park vehicles around the dealership property
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods, including month-end
• Perform other duties as assigned

Franklin Sussex Auto Mall is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Prep & Detail Department!

We are currently hiring Full-Time Prep & Detail Technicians at both entry-level and experienced levels .

Location: Sussex, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday & Saturday when needed; Hours Vary
Compensation Range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and maintain Nielsen Automotive Group quality standards
