Job summary

ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI. You will lead mechanical project teams through acquisition and execution for Robotic Cell, Powertrain, EV assembly, and related systems, translating inputs into documented requirements.

You will work under the Mechanical Engineering Manager, interfacing with customers on technical issues and ensuring schedules and budgets are met with quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Automotive Process and Automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical project engineering and design activities for ABB Robotic Cell, Powertrain, EV Assembly, FTA, Paint, and Washer systems.
• Interface with customers on technical issues (mechanical and process).
• Plan and manage project schedules and budgets; ensure compliance with ABB specs.
