Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Porter to keep customer vehicles and shop areas clean and organized. This entry-level role supports repairs by prepping vehicles, pre-washing and post-cleaning, and handling basic transport of vehicles to sublet locations.

You’ll work in a fast-paced shop environment and must be reliable with a positive attitude. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, can multitask, and are able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Attention to detail and reliability required.
• Valid driver’s license and 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Support WOW plan execution and day-to-day shop duties as needed.
