Job summary

Sunset Ford St. Louis is seeking a motivated afternoon porter valet and cleaner to join our team. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday with a start time around 1pm or 2pm, totaling 20–25 hours per week.

The Porter will assist guests with valet services, move vehicles, perform light cleaning of rental vehicles and common areas, and help maintain curb appeal and operations at the service drive. Prioritizing friendly customer interactions and reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver's license.
• Customer-facing role with ability to communicate with guests.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks to maintain vehicle and facility condition.
• Physical ability to perform duties and move around parking/garage areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with valet services by pulling their vehicle to the service drive.
• Drive vehicles to/from service lane, vendors, and parking lot as needed.
• Clean rental vehicles; wipe down and vacuum interiors.
• Sweep garage drive lane and sidewalks; remove snow and debris as needed.
• Direct customers to pull into the service drive and park vehicles.
• Move vehicles between dealerships and shuttle guests as needed.
• Assist with cleaning the building and restocking supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sunset Ford is looking for a motivated and energetic afternoon part-time Porter Valet and Cleaner to join our award winning team.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1pm or 2pm start time - 6pm (20-25 hours per week)

Porter Responsibilities

• Assist guests with valet servicesby pulling their vehicle up to the service drive for re-delivery
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, vendors, and parking lot as needed
• Clean Rental vehicles, wipe down and vacuum out
• Sweepsgarage drive laneand sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary in winter
• Directs customers to pull in the service drive
• Parks customer vehicles once checked in by staff
• Assists with cleaning the building, trash removal, cleaning windows, etc.
• Moves vehicles between dealerships
• Shuttle's guests home or to work as needed
• Vacuum rugs, dust computers, wipe down counter-tops and coffee machine
• Stock coffee supplies and other products service needs
• Performes other duties as assigned by management

PorterQualifications

• Current and valid Driver's License
• Some understanding how to clean properly is required
• Being personable and enjoy talking to customers
