Job summary

Pro-MotionPix is hiring a dependable Automotive Porter Technician to service automotive dealerships in the Santa Cruz area on a part-time schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri). You'll visit dealerships, locate vehicles and keys, capture photos and videos with a company-issued iPhone, and move cars into photo areas while following a consistent daily process.

No professional photography experience is required; paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Comfortable walking dealership lots and performing physical tasks throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned dealership locations using your own reliable vehicle.
• Locate vehicles, keys, and dealership contacts to complete daily assignments.
• Move vehicles into designated photo areas when needed.
• Capture vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos using a company-issued iPhone and app.
• Communicate with dealership staff about missing vehicles, keys, and inventory issues.
• Contact dealership staff in person or by phone when information is needed.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Work independently while representing Pro-MotionPix professionally.
• Walk dealership lots and work outdoors throughout the day.

Automotive Porter Technician

Part-Time | 3 Days Per Week - Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Schedule: Until the assigned route is completed

Route: Santa Cruz & Surrounding Areas

Pay: $25.00++ per hour

Hourly pay listed is a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout.

Pro-MotionPix is hiring a dependable Automotive Porter Technician to service automotive dealerships throughout the Santa Cruz area.

This is a structured, hands-on field position for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and following a consistent daily process.

You’ll visit assigned dealerships to help keep their online vehicle inventory accurate and up to date. Your responsibilities will include locating vehicles and keys, moving vehicles into position, and capturing vehicle photos, 360° spins, and videos using a company-issued iPhone and app.

No professional photography experience is required. We provide paid training and teach you exactly how to complete the job.

This is not a creative photography position. It’s a process-driven role focused on consistency, efficiency, accuracy, and completing assigned work.

Who We're Looking For

• Automotive: Detailers, porters, lot attendants, lube technicians, inventory specialists
• Warehouse: Material handling, inventory, loading/unloading, distribution
• Construction: General labor, skilled trades, jobsite work
• Landscaping: Outdoor labor, grounds maintenance, crew positions
• Delivery: Drivers, route-based positions, logistics
• Other active jobs: Maintenance, moving, facilities, or similar physical work

• Enjoys working independently with minimal supervision
• Is comfortable staying active and on their feet throughout the dayIs comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
• Communicates well with dealership staff
• Can solve problems and adapt when vehicles, keys, or information aren't where expected
• Is organized and able to follow a consistent process
• Is comfortable using a smartphone and learning new apps
• Takes pride in completing quality work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable vehicle required
• Minimum 1 year of consistent work history preferred
• Automotive, warehouse, construction, landscaping, delivery, or similar experience preferred
• Comfortable walking dealership lots and performing physical tasks throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications
• Manual transmission experience is a plus, but not required
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Compensation & Benefits

• $25.00++ per hour
• Pay includes base pay + per-vehicle photo payout
