Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an entry level Porter to transport vehicles, tools, parts and equipment, and provide quality service to customers. The role offers growth opportunities within the company as you learn the trade in a shop setting in Chesapeake, VA.

You will perform vehicle test drives after repairs, assist the field team to maintain efficiency, and handle various tasks including moving items and minor cleanup. This is an entry level position with room to progress.

Pay

• Up to $20.00 per hour

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• High school diploma or tech school graduate
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
• Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
• Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
• Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
• Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
• Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
• May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
• Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
