Gerber Collision & Glass in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Porter to keep customer vehicles clean before delivery and to maintain both shop and office cleanliness. Responsibilities include advancing WOW plan, interior and exterior vehicle cleaning, and transporting vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ age with a valid license, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior including garbage, floors, and countertops.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of production area including waste disposal and tool organization.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition; shoveling sidewalks as needed.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs; clean exterior and interior after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details:

$14.00 - $18.00 Hourly!

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

Supplemental Pay:

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
