Job Requirements (Required)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Prior experience driving and working with a variety of vehicles
- Ability to operate vehicles equipped with a manual transmission
- Ability to move quickly (Certain elements of the job are physically demanding)
- Ability to work irregular hours, which may include evenings or Saturdays if needed
- Ability to work in both indoor/outdoor temperatures
Job Requirements (Preferred)
- 1 or more years of experience as a Lot Attendant, Detailer, Porter, Shuttle Driver, or related position
- A familiarity with Rapid Recon
Job Duties
This position works both independently and with a team to maintain our photo/inventory merchandising processes and sales lot, ensuring it is clean, orderly, and organized. Responsibilities include:
- Taking videos/photos of newly arrived vehicles and monitoring uploads via desktop and iPad
- Using the Photo System to accurately image vehicles
- Following merchandising processes efficiently and accurately
- Documenting VINs, accessories, damage, and other vehicle features to accompany photos and videos
- Retrieving vehicles from auction sites
- Transporting vehicles within the lot and to external locations such as auction sites, body shops, and dealerships
- Creating and attaching signage like Buyer’s Guides and QR codes to vehicles
- Assigning stock control numbers, cataloging, and storing keys
- Organizing and positioning vehicles to optimize presentation and space utilization
- Maintaining the dealership grounds, including snow removal as needed
- Driving vehicles within the dealership to support sales and service departments
- Preparing vehicles for imaging, including exterior cleaning and simple interior cleaning
