Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to join our Compute Hardware team. You will validate automotive-grade PCBs, run lab tests, and automate workflows using Python.

Join a small, nimble hardware group where you own significant projects, collaborate with design, system, and software teams, and help bring-up boards while following OEM protocols like LV124 and ISO 16750.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 2-6 years of hands-on board-level testing and validation.
• Experience with test automation (Python, LabVIEW).
• Familiarity with OEM test protocols and automotive validation flows.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve validation test plans for automotive PCBs.
• Characterize board performance using lab equipment.
• Automate lab equipment and test routines using Python or similar.
• Analyze and document results in clear, concise reports.
• Collaborate with electrical design, system integration, and software teams to support board bring-up.
• Interpret and follow OEM test protocols (e.g., LV124, ISO 16750, CISPR).
• Maintain lab setups and improve test efficiency with reusable infrastructure.
