Job summary

GP Motor Company, a Utah-based pre-owned vehicle dealer, seeks a dependable Parts Assistant. You will support reconditioning by installing parts, performing minor repairs, organizing parts, and moving vehicles through the process with urgency and care.

Under the Parts Manager, you’ll stay organized, communicate issues promptly, and contribute to a smooth flow from acquisition to sale. Competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge is required to assess parts and procedures.
• Familiarity with common hand tools and minor vehicle repairs.
• Attention to detail to verify correct parts fit and fitment.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet vehicle priorities.
• Good organization and clear communication with the team.

Responsibilities

• Install replacement parts on dealership vehicles as assigned by the Parts Manager.
• Complete minor mechanical, cosmetic, interior, trim, lighting, and bolt-on repairs.
• Ensure parts are installed correctly and securely.
• Communicate immediately when additional parts or a qualified tech is needed.
• Receive incoming parts and help verify deliveries.
