Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead store operations, drive sales, and build strong professional customer relationships. The role requires overseeing inventory, coaching a team of 10–20, and ensuring high service and performance standards.

The GM must manage scheduling, training, and daily store metrics, including P&L awareness, while maintaining store appearance and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Experience managing profitability and strong financial acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule, and engage store team members.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Coach team to meet customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Oversee duties of manager on duty and safety compliance.
• Lead change management and foster respectful environment.
