Auto-Wares Group of Companies in Lafayette, IN is seeking a dependable Full-Time Counterperson to join our Auto Value Lafayette team. If you have automotive parts knowledge and enjoy helping customers find the right solutions, this role offers a fast-paced environment and a chance to grow with a trusted Midwest distributor.

You will be the face of the store, delivering friendly, accurate service, finalizing sales, learning our parts and services, and supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in automotive field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Be the face of our company by delivering positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Provide accurate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting parts and services.
• Close sales using in-person or phone interactions and process transactions.
• Develop a deep knowledge of the parts and services offered.
• Offer all product options to customers and uphold our service standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized store appearance and assist with daily operations.
• Support co-workers and participate in inventory and returns as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct all activities using a customer focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in person communication, and more!
• Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
• Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
• Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
• Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.

Full time, Monday-Friday, Saturdays on rotation Stores hours of operation: Monday-Friday,7:30am-5:30pm Saturday 8am-12pm

Automotive Parts Specialist ~ Lafayette, IN: Job Requirements:

• Previous 2yearsexperience in automotivefield.
• Customer focused with strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18years of Age
• Valid Driver’s License
• No major violations
• No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
• No more than one at-fault accident
• Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of position including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
