Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s NAPA store is seeking a Store Pro who will serve as the primary contact for customers, delivering a high-quality experience and providing automotive parts solutions to both retail and wholesale customers.

You will apply product knowledge, operate POS and inventory tools, and support store operations in a fast-paced environment, while building relationships that drive loyalty and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed to optimize store performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards
